Help the Sri Lankan children who are the victims of The Tsunami learn English.

For every new client, we will donate 5% of the first job towards the salary of an English teacher in Sri Lanka.

Make a difference to these children’s lives by giving them the gift of English

Our Montessori English teacher based in Manacare’s ‘Hopes & Dreams Centre’ in Sri Lanka allows children from 7 - 16 gain valuable English language skills.

Since conversational English has now been banned from the government schools curriculum we are able to give these children the opportunity to learn English from a native English speaker which will enable them to find jobs in their adult life in the many hotels and tourist spots in Sri Lanka.

Learning English is a lifelong gift which empowers these kids to ultimately improve conditions for families & communities for future generations.

Through the opportunities that only an education can provide, we strive to break the cycle of poverty, one school child at a time.

For every new client that visits our website, translate4me will donate 5% of the translation cost of their first project. We need to translate 50,000 words for new clients every month in order to pay our English teacher's salary.  Help us to achieve this by giving us your translation work so that we can translate your words into a future for many generations to come...

After the fatal Tsunami hit Sri Lanka in December 2004, Manacare purchased 2.3 acres of land, in Tellwatta which is 10 miles west before the tourist town of Hikaduwa, famous for its diving holidays. The centre provides a School, Medical Clinic, Therapy, Creche, Playground and Garden Area, & Vocational Training.

The centre provides Housing for four of the most vulnerable groups of adults & children brought about as a consequence of Tsunami, making the scheme one of the most sought after for provision in the many areas of devastation.

Translate4me is actively involved in sponsoring the English teachers at the school so that the children can find jobs in the future and improve the lives of their families and future generations.

Send us your words for translation and we’ll translate them into helping these children…
