The project workflow in simple steps:

 

Clients are appointed a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to manage the project from initial brief to final sign off

Working with the client’s brief the Project Manager develops an automated workflow process to run through ALMA which matches the client’s specific criteria and fulfils their goals

 

ALMA, our Global Management System, is able to access our client’s content whatever the format, or wherever it’s stored, whether that’s a native file system, a direct mount to a CMS, or a connection with any external system via Web Services

 

Once the content has been found, our system filters it, automatically extracting all translatable content from any file type

 

The content is then run through our linguistic technology to leverage 100% matches, ‘ICE,’ 'SPICE' or 'fuzzy' matches from previously translated content as well as brand new content for translation

 

A quote is produced detailing a full content breakdown & discounts

 

Now we’re ready to get started with the translations!

 

For our new clients, the Project Manager selects the appropriate translators from our database of 3000 native speaking linguists. translators will have an appropriate background in the subject matter they are being asked to translate. For our existing clients, the same teams of linguists will be used for every project since over time they build up a good understanding of the client’s preferred style, tone , etc.

 

Files are prepared & delivered to the translators

 

The translations are returned & an in-house quality check is carried out

 

At this stage many of our clients request that we send our translations to their in-country personnel for checking and correct use of in-house terminology. We organize this process on their behalf, including automated follow ups etc.

 

The ‘approved’ text is delivered back to the Project Manager, checked by our linguists & new content is automatically run through our linguistic technology for future projects

 

At this stage the text could either be typeset by our in-house foreign language typesetters, uploaded automatically into our client’s CMS, or simply returned in the format of the client’s choice

 

Final approved files are signed off by our client and the content is published

 

Automatic reports are generated and delivered to the client regarding the project, including full breakdowns & discounts and the updated TM is delivered FREE to the client
